  • Life After Lockup: How Shawn Contradicts Himself With Poor Parenting

    0

Shawn has introduced his second relationship on Life After Lockup, and both times he's seemingly pushed his parenting aside to pursue love. On Life After Lockup season 4, viewers followed Shawn's new relationship with Sara after a messy breakup with his ex Destinie. It was just last year when Shawn was driving around town trying to hunt Destinie down to get his car back. He also proposed to her and wanted to build a future together, but Destinie was seemingly only interested in his financial stability. All the while, Shawn upset his ex Kelly due to how neglectful he was being to their six kids.

Shawn has now gotten into a relationship with Sara and things appear to be going well for the couple. He admitted to lying about his age and owned up to being 10 years older than the original 36 he told Sara. While Sara is aware that Shawn has other children back home, she isn't fully aware of how big Shawn's sacrifice for her was. He relocated to Ohio to be with Sara and left his six kids behind. While he expresses his hopes of being a step-father to Sara's daughter, he already has six kids of his own who are missing their father.

Recent reports say that Shawn and Sara might even be married and expecting a child together after about a year of dating. A video from YouTube channel realiteasquad (included below) recently unearthed alleged evidence hinting at Sara and Shawn being married while filming their couples confessional. Sara is the second relationship Shawn has shared on Life After Lockup. Each time, Shawn shows his devotion to his girlfriend while seemingly pushing his fatherhood role to the waist side. He hasn't included his children in the show.

Shawn has only sat down with his ex Kelly to inform her about the new woman he's fallen in love with this time around. Kelly's visible frustration with Shawn shows that he might have a history of disappointing her and their kids. Overall, raising six children isn't easy, so it's a role that requires a lot of time and dedication. But considering how much time Shawn dedicates to his romantic relationships, it leaves one wondering when he finds time to spend with his six kids.

If he is expecting another child, it'll be his seventh child and Sara's second. Shawn will also have to introduce his newborn to his other kids. That will be a whole new journey for Shawn and Sara to embark on. Hopefully, the Life After Lockup cameras is rolling to see what the dynamic will be for the blended family. It's good to see Shawn finally finding love, but not if it comes at the expense of spending time with his children.

Warzone Season 6 Battle Pass Adds Vanguard's StG 44, M1 Garand For Free

    0

Editor’s Note: A lawsuit has been filed against Activision Blizzard by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, which alleges the company has engaged in abuse, discrimination, and retaliation against its female employees. Activision Blizzard has denied the allegations. The full details of the Activision Blizzard lawsuit (content warning: rape, suicide, abuse, harassment) are being updated as new information becomes available.

The Season 6 Battle Pass for Call of Duty: Warzone was expanded with Call of Duty: Vanguard's Stg 44 and M1 Garand, which players can earn for free ahead of the game’s official launch on November 5th. Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty will have full integration with Raven Software’s free-to-play battle royale when it launches, just as both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War have had integrations with Warzone. The developers have confirmed many aspects of that future integration, including a massive new battle royale map that will replace Verdansk, as well as additional maps, modes, and events post-launch. Vanguard’s link with Warzone is reportedly stronger than past Call of Duty iterations, and the two will also share a new PC anti-cheat system developed by Raven Software.

Last week, the StG 44 and M1 Garand dropped into Warzone, likely by accident, after the Season Six update. The mistake was quickly addressed and the weapons were stripped from the battle royale. The American M1 Garand and German StG 44 were visible in the Warzone Gunsmith, though the guns couldn’t be equipped in loadouts. One YouTuber, however, said he was able to equip and use the Vanguard weapons that briefly appeared in Warzone, though he was unable to inspect the guns. Now those weapons have officially dropped in Warzone and are unlockable immediately from the Battle Pass.

According to Call of Duty, 24 new Battle Pass tiers have been added to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, bringing Vanguard weapons and items that players can use immediately ahead of the game’s official launch. All items can be earned for free by playing Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, including the StG 44 and M1 Garand. Though the Battle Pass tiers can be earned in either game, the Vanguard weaponry can only be equipped while playing the battle royale. Developers also confirmed that the Gunsmith will be unavailable for both base weapons, as well as the weapon attachments and camos as of October 12. However, the features will be enabled when Vanguard launches.

Following this launch, Warzone’s Season Six update provides an opportunity to level up the StG 44 and M1 Garand before November 5, as all Weapon XP will be tracked and transferred to Vanguard when it drops. Those levels will also be integrated into Warzone when the official integration takes place later this year. Until those times, however, neither the Weapon Blueprints nor the base guns can be edited. The free Battle Pass tiers also include a plethora of other Vanguard-inspired rewards, including two Weapon Blueprints for both the StG 44 and the M1 Garand, as well as XP tokens, calling cards, emblems, sprays, weapon charms, and stickers. The Battle Pass’s final tier, Tier 98, unlocks the “Clocked In” Watch Wrist Accessory.

Developers Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games have teamed up to bring Vanguard content into Warzone early. Players now have a jumpstart on leveling the StG 44 and M1 Garand, and can begin incorporating those weapons into Warzone's meta ahead of Vanguard’s official launch. How the battle royale’s 100-gun meta will change with the inclusion of the World War II-era weapons is not yet known, though players now get a preview with two such weapons.

American Idol: Adam Lambert Reveals Details About New Cover Band Show

    0

American Idol season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert is returning to the small screen as a judge on E's new series Clash of the Cover Bands, premiering on October 13 at 9:30pm. Since leaving American Idol, Adam has had a successful solo career and a superstar turn as the lead singer of the rock band Queen. Adam's experience with performing both on a reality competition show and on tour in the real world will be great assets to him in this new endeavor.

Adam first won America's heart in 2009 on American Idol, during which he established himself as a glam rocker with a voice that soared to heights never before heard on the show. Although he came in second to winner Kris Allen, his career took off as soon as the show ended. His loyal faction of fans, the "Glamberts," are some of the most passionate around. They followed his career from his 2009 debut album For Your Entertainment, which included the hit single, "Whataya Want from Me," for which he earned a Grammy nomination, to his collaborations with Queen. In 2019, he founded the non-profit Feel Something Foundation to support LGBTQ+ and human rights activism. This year, Adam has an upcoming two-weekend residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas with an additional livestream special on Friday, October 29.

In an interview with E! News, Adam discussed his latest project, Clash of the Cover Bands, in which he will mentor cover band contestants alongside fellow singers Meghan Trainor and Ester Dean. The winning band will receive a $25,000 prize and the opportunity to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The bands will cover a vast array of artists this season, including Blink-182, Bon Jovi, Coldplay, U2 and Elton John. They will also sing the songs of female artists like Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood and Lady Gaga. Adam confessed he is "kind of partial to the divas. I think that's sort of my soft spot. We had a Britney, a J.Lo. We had a CĂ©line Dion. We had Tina Turner. We had Dolly Parton. These are iconic women."

This was also a full circle moment for Adam because the show is filmed on the same stage and studio as American Idol. Adam explained, "So walking backstage into the studio every day was just so surreal. That was, what, 12 years ago? That's where everything started for me." It also helped remind him how difficult it can be to perform in front of judges. He said, "It made me keep in mind that when you get up on stage and you perform and you give it your all and you're putting yourself out there to be commented on by three people at a desk in front of you, it's not always the easiest thing." He knows that it is "tricky and takes a lot of bravery" to get up on that stage, and he kept all of that in mind when he was talking to the performers. He tried to be "constructive and yet sensitive to the journey."

Adam's path from American Idol contestant to Clash of the Cover Bands judge shows his growth throughout the years. He is now qualified to help a new generation of singers make it big. These bands are lucky to have a mentor like him to help them launch their careers. Adam has it all covered.

We're One Step Closer To Uncovering Secrets Of Ancient 'Centaur' Comets

    0

Comets are a frequent and gorgeous occurrence in outer space, and a study recently outlined plans for how scientists could watch them be created in real-time. As it's been proven time and time again, the mysteries of space are continually fascinating. Planets in our Solar System have many stories to tell, faraway galaxies hold countless other secrets, and there's a constant drive in the science community to uncover as many of these as possible.

Thanks to constantly advancing technology, each day brings us closer to answering previously unsolvable questions. In 2021 alone, there have been numerous milestones in the space exploration world. Perseverance collected the first Martian rock sample that'll be returned to Earth, InSight created the first interior map of Mars, and Ingenuity became the first helicopter to fly on an alien planet. In that context, it's almost unfathomable to think what we'll be able to achieve in 5, 10, or 50 years down the road.

Thanks to a new study from the University of Chicago, researchers have now outlined plans for astronomers to follow the creation of a comet from start to finish. More specifically, the study describes how we could document comet creation that takes place in Jupiter's orbit. As described by the author of the paper, Darryl Seligman, "This would be an amazing opportunity to see a pristine comet 'turn on' for the first time."

Comets and asteroids come from many places in our Solar System. There's a well-known asteroid belt near Mars, along with the Kuiper belt just beyond Neptune's orbit. One destination that's less understood is an area between Jupiter and Neptune. Between the two planets is a group of 'centaurs' — large chunks of ice that are from the Solar System's earliest days. Every now and then, these centaurs are pulled into Jupiter's orbit, shot off towards Earth, and transform into stunning comets hurtling through space.

While this whole process remains relatively unknown, Seligman believes there's an easy way to document it. In short, humans could send a spacecraft to Jupiter and have it stay there in its orbit. Then, once a centaur enters orbit and eventually leaves, the spacecraft could also leave Jupiter and fly alongside the centaur to watch its entire journey. That may sound like a farfetched idea, but as the study explains, all of the required technology already exists. NASA's Juno orbiter is orbiting Jupiter at this very moment, and a Japanese spacecraft returned samples from an asteroid late last year. The timing also lines up. It only takes about five years to get a spacecraft from Earth to Jupiter's orbit. Scientists have already confirmed another centaur will enter Jupiter's orbit in 2063. On top of that, there's reason to believe another 10 centaurs could also enter orbit within the next 40 years.

Along with the mission being technically possible, Seligman also uses the study to double down on why it's so important to act on. As he puts it, "It would yield a treasure trove of information about how comets move and why, how the solar system formed, and even how Earth-like planets form." It's unclear if/when a mission like this would actually happen, but here's to hoping someone at NASA (or another organization) is listening to what Seligman is saying.

HTC's Vive Flow Makes VR Users Look Even Weirder Than Usual

    0

A number of HTC Vive Flow images leaked recently and suggest that the upcoming virtual reality headset will have a far more interesting look than the company's previous VR headsets. The images also show that the headset has a surprising amount of depth when it comes to the features being showcased. Taiwanese electronics giant HTC has a history in developing virtual reality hardware that appeals to a wider audience instead of just hardcore tech enthusiasts.

The company unveiled its Vive VR headset lineup more than five years ago, and has released various iterations since then. If there's one thing HTC Vive headsets have in common, it's their futuristic and sometimes bizarre aesthetic. As the concept of VR alone continues to produce shocking results, HTC has continued to make outlandish-looking tech pieces available to the mass market, from its obscurely-shaped Vive Focus to the unique geometrical cut-outs of the Vive Cosmos.

It appears that HTC isn't dropping this trend anytime soon, as leaks of its upcoming Vive Flow headset depict yet another standout set of VR goggles complete with reflective lenses that strangely resemble massive bug-eye sunglasses. Prolific leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) released the set of promotional images to Twitter, with the materials detailing some of what consumers can expect from the Vive Flow. For example, the leaked images show that the headset itself will retail for $499, with pre-orders starting on October 15 and shipments beginning some time in early November.

The Vive Flow's design certainly has the living room in mind instead of the usual VR cave, with an emphasis on portability. The leaked images show how the headset can project media streamed from a tethered smartphone while using the handset as a remote control. Other features include an “active cooling system” using an internal fan in the center, which could be useful for those planning on wearing the goggles for longer periods, or for those that want to take VR motion to the next level. The images also showcase the Vive Flow's built-in audio system that features “immersive spatial audio,” though it's unclear whether these are utilizing bone conduction technology or just external speakers.

Overall, the Vive Flow is marketed as VR goggles designed for “well-being and mindful productivity” so whether it is an alternative to gaming-focused headsets like the Oculus Quest remains to be seen. Perhaps the HTC Vive Flow will take a more grounded approach in presenting itself as a health and well-being-oriented tool that complements one's lifestyle. If that is the case, it just might be able to break the mold of devices that are typically associated with escapism and isolation, especially given the many potential use cases of VR headsets outside of gaming.

RHOBH: Garcelle Beauvais Thinks The Cast ‘Blindly’ Supported Erika Jayne

    0

Garcelle Beauvais from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills thinks the cast put too much faith in Erika Jayne and followed her "blindly." Garcelle has been campaigning for a new cast member she can trust but has yet to be granted one. The mother of two is hoping next season brings her some more allies instead of the same sheep she has been surrounded by for the entirety of RHOBH season 11.

The reality star joined the series for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 and was an instant fan-favorite. RHOBH season 11 showed fans a whole new side to Garcelle as she opened up to the ladies. Viewers were upset to see that some of the housewives made the Coming to America star feel unwelcome. Numerous times, the actress divulged that she was meant to feel like an outsider. Garcelle showed a more vulnerable side, leading fans to empathize with her. The entire season, Garcelle stood firm with Sutton Stracke, leading Bravo viewers to call them the VIPs of the series.

Garcelle recently spoke with Page Six, claiming that she felt her fellow 90210 housewives were just following Erika like lost sheep. The 54-year-old shared her confusion as to why some of the women lost their backbone, pointing out that they tried desperately to preserve their relationships with Erika. Garcelle said, "I felt like some people were blindly behind her." The entire season showed the women kowtowing to the "Pretty Mess" singer, but Garcelle and Sutton had a list of questions they wanted answered.

The Real host noted that the questions she wanted answers to were common queries that everybody would have. Garcelle noted that Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Rinna, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Kathy Hilton could often be found gossiping about Erika's latest story. Garcelle even hinted that many of the women talked behind Erika's back but would be extremely sympathetic to her face. Garcelle concluded her observations by saying she knew she wanted to be assertive this past season and felt like she accomplished just that.

The Coming 2 America star bravely asked Erika on their girls' trip if she knew about Tom Girardi's money issues. Erika denied any knowledge, reassuring her friend she was blindsided. Both Erika and Tom were sued for allegedly embezzling funds meant for the victims of Lion Air Flight 610. Erika made it known that she will remember those who stood against her. Maybe Garcelle should be worried, but Bravo fans believe she isn't losing too much sleep over Erika's threats since her bark is usually worse than her bite.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesday at 8pm on Bravo.

Netflix Renews You Season 4 Ahead Of Season 3 Premiere

    0

Netflix has just renewed their Penn Badgley stalker series You for season 4 ahead of the premiere of the show's third season, which is set to debut on October 15. You, which is based on the series of novels by Caroline Kepnes, follows Joe Goldberg (Badgley), a sociopath who falls in love with women and stalks them, leaving a trail of bodies in his path. The series originally ran for one season on the Lifetime network before being picked up by Netflix. You became a more or less immediate hit for the streamer.

Season 2 of You, which premiered in late 2019, followed Joe as he moved from New York City to Los Angeles. He indulged his stalker tendencies once again after meeting Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), a privileged heiress who proves herself more than a match for him. Like many series that premiered around that time, the follow-up season suffered heavy delays from the COVID-19 pandemic, but You season 3 wrapped production in April of this year.

Per Deadline, Netflix has already renewed You for a fourth season. Partially because it's too early and partially because it might spoil the events of the third season, no casting announcements have been made yet. However, the one character fans can almost certainly count on returning is Joe Goldberg himself, because there is no You without him.

When it premieres, You season 3 will follow Joe and Love during their life as a newly married couple in suburbia. They have moved into the ironically named Northern California community of Madre Linda (which means "Beautiful Mother" in English), where Joe will attempt to curb Love's killer instincts and embrace family life. Unfortunately for him, his next-door neighbor Natalie (Michaela McManus) has piqued his interest, but his usual stalking techniques won't work under Love's watchful eyes. Season 3 will also star Tati Gabrielle, Dylan Arnold, Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Bryan Safi, and Scott Speedman.

While the second season of You was based largely on the second novel, Hidden Bodies, the ending of the season took the story in an entirely new direction. Season 3 of the series will likely contain elements from the third novel, You Love Me, but it is largely looking to take the series in a completely different direction than the novels. However, season 4 may catch up with what those who read the novels are more familiar with, or else go the Game of Thrones route and further the show's complete divergence from its source material.

The Family Chantel: Season 3 Cast Ranked By Villain Status

    0

Since The Family Chantel season 3 recently premiered, it's a good time to rank the season's most problematic cast members. Viewers know that the Jimeno and Everett families have had messy moments over the years. Chantel and Pedro Jimeno faced tension created by their respective in-laws, while friends of both families have also caused drama for the 90 Day FiancĂ© alums. Learn how The Family Chantel season 3 cast members stack up when it comes to memorably bad behavior.

When Pedro and Chantel first appeared on 90 Day FiancĂ©, Chantel’s family was deeply suspicious of Dominican Pedro’s intentions with the Atlanta beauty. Chantel’s parents Karen and Thomas Everett eventually accepted Pedro, though the Everett family then attacked son Royal Everett’s now-wife, Angenette Everett. The season 3 premiere revealed that Angenette and Royal are sitting out The Family Chantel, and the couple is not on speaking terms with the rest of the Everett family at the moment.

While Chantel’s family is known for bringing drama, Pedro’s family is just the same. Pedro’s mother Lidia Jimeno and sister Nicole Jimeno have both clashed with Chantel on numerous messy occasions. Meanwhile, Nicole appears to encourage her best friend Coraima Morla to flirt with Pedro, who has been accused of cheating on Chantel with Coraima. Pedro also faces drama from Nicole’s married boyfriend Alejandro Padron, as Lidia and Pedro both notoriously dislike Nicole’s partner.

River Everett may have engaged in an infamous fistfight with Pedro that resulted in a family brawl, but he is unlikely to be a major source of drama. He is the least shady member of his family, as the antics of his parents and siblings are more outrageous. While he's been a gentler presence, clips for season 3 do show that River might be the next Everett family sibling to have his or her love life probed by Karen. Chantel’s brother is more likely to focus on his career than more clashes with family members, as River wants to make it big in music.

Thomas got flak for joining Karen in her crusade against Pedro. However, viewers think that Karen was always leading the charge, while Thomas was simply backing his wife up. Thomas may not be perfect, but he seems to want the best for his family. To show how much he doesn’t want drama, Thomas has even stayed off of social media. Therefore, it’s unlikely that Chantel’s father will be at the center of any upcoming conflicts.

Winter Everett is another one of the Everett family members who has participated in drama, though few would say she's the worst offender. Winter and Chantel memorably got in a spat that led to Winter hurling some choice words at her older sister. However, Winter’s anger has been attributed to insecurity rather than vengeance. Winter’s biggest drama is her sketchy boyfriend Jah, who is more likely to cause trouble than Winter is.

Pedro Jimeno tends to focus on fitness and family. However, the bad blood between Pedro’s wife Chantel and his family has triggered issues that are exacerbated by Pedro’s poor communication skills. Pedro showed that he isn’t afraid to get physical when it came to River, and he will next fight Nicole’s boyfriend Alejandro Padron in season 3. Pedro has evolved through the seasons, after starting out as a victim of the Everett parents. Now, he's flipping the script by acting like Thomas and Karen, due to his suspicious and meddling behavior with Nicole and Alejandro. However, some viewers think Pedro is just being a caring yet overprotective older brother.

Coraima might be a loyal friend to Nicole, but she has no qualms about meddling in Chantel and Pedro’s marriage. Coraima openly has a crush on Pedro which (according to Nicole) led to Pedro and Coraima sleeping together. Coraima appears unapologetic in season 3 clips, as she makes it known that Chantel feels threatened by her. Though villainous, Coraima is not shaping up to be the biggest villain on The Family Chantel.

Alejandro Padron is another supporting cast member who has earned villain cred. The boyfriend of Nicole angers her mother and brother due to the fact that he is married. Things between Alejandro and Nicole are already uncertain, as she revealed that he isn’t yet pursuing a divorce despite dating her. Alejandro might see his villain status rise due to his upcoming physical altercation with Pedro.

Chantel Jimeno (nĂ©e Everett) is The Family Chantel star, but that hasn’t stopped her from behaving like a villain on numerous occasions. Chantel started the bad blood with Nicole when she infamously took a language misunderstanding way too far. She called her sister-in-law a “bitch-ass, slut-ass whore.” Chantel also ganged up on Angenette, making her feel unwelcome in the family, even on Angenette’s wedding day. Chantel is beautiful, but some viewers think her personality needs some work.

While Chantel is to blame for her actions, her arch-enemy Nicole also is often on her worst behavior as well. It's definitely true that Nicole has been blasted as a bad sister, as she is shown spitefully telling Chantel that Pedro cheated on her with Coraima this season. Nicole clashes with Chantel in a way that viewers consider bratty, whiny, and immature. Nicole enjoys being at the center of drama and appears to be fully embracing her upcoming villain status, as she is one of the main antagonists for season 3.

Lidia Jimeno has quickly become a franchise villain due to the way she treats Chantel and her own family. Lidia's actions paint her as a dramatic and meddling mother who isn’t afraid to interfere in her childrens' love lives. Lidia dislikes Pedro’s wife Chantel and Nicole’s boyfriend, Alejandro. The fact that Alejandro is still married led Lidia to judge Nicole harshly. She disapproves of her daughter's romantic choices. Many fans think Lidia behaves even worse than her daughter.

Though The Family Chantel displays many cast members who badly, Everett family matriarch Karen takes the cake, and she's the most villainous cast member. Many 90 Day FiancĂ© fans consider Karen to be one of the worst mothers in the entire extended franchise. Karen lacks all boundaries and respect when it comes to her children's romantic relationships. The smother-mother has interfered with both Chantel and Royal's marriages, and will now be meddling in Winter and River's love lives. The Family Chantel viewers are appalled by the way Karen continues to behave, but they keep tuning in.

PlayStation Plus Giving Away Three Extra PSVR Games In November 2021

    0

To celebrate PSVR's fifth anniversary, PlayStation is giving PlayStation Plus subscribers three VR games in November, in addition to the month's usual offerings. PSVR is one of the few Sony gaming products outside of its home consoles to stick around long-term, as the company is currently sunsetting PS Vita and even PS3 store support. Since PSVR's launch, PlayStation has kept its VR platform games library stocked as a successor headset for the PS5 has been in production.

The PSVR 2 is officially in development, and while Sony has yet to reveal the actual headset, it has shown off the peripheral's controllers. These will utilize PlayStation 5 DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers and feature precise hand and finger sensors. Sony says it will be ready to speak more about PSVR 2 before 2021's end, but it’s been months since it confirmed the headset's existence. Rumors suggest the PSVR 2 headset will target a higher resolution than rival products like the Oculus Quest 2, as well as a wider field of view and other improvements over the original.

In a post on PlayStation Blog, Sony Interactive Entertainment's Isabelle Tomatis announced PS Plus subscribers will be able to download three free PSVR games in November, which will be offered as additional bonuses with the month's regular lineup. The freebies are part of the company's celebration of the fifth anniversary of PSVR's launch. However, which games will be given away to PS Plus members has yet to be divulged, but a graphic starring PSVR mascot Astro did reveal Rec Room, Beat Saber, PlayStation VR Worlds, Skyrim VR, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard are the platform's most-played games to date.

The post also spotlights several PSVR developers, a few of which developed some of 2021's best VR games. Many developers say using the headset has helped eliminate some of the problems they normally encounter during production, like design and camera controls. One specific example was provided by Chandana Ekanyake from Outerloop Games, who explains how developing Falcon Age for PSVR required work with an actual falconer to make the game's animations accurate.

Sony has released several PSVR-enabled titles since the release of the PS5 in its monthly PlayStation Plus giveaways, including Star Wars: Squadrons. Adding three new games to PS Plus in November on top of the other unannounced games is likely a nice surprise for PSVR owners. Some could interpret the bonus offerings as the company readying to showcase PSVR 2, as it has alluded to at a few points this year. If that's the case, this could be a prelude to knowing more about the next PlayStation headset and - with luck - when it will release.

Sony’s PSVR support doesn't appear to be slowing five years on. Evidence of this can be found in PlayStation's recent acquisition of Firesprite, which has made several PSVR games in the past. While other companies are making headsets exclusively for PC, PSVR expands the reach of the technology to the console market. With games like Half-Life: Alyx paving the way for the next jump in VR gaming, it can be expected Sony will find more ways to highlight PSVR and PSVR 2 in the near future.

Dinosaur RPG Games With Jurassic Park-Style Settings

    0

Many popular tabletop RPG systems see dinosaurs show up occasionally as enemies, but a few true dinosaur RPGs are entirely centered around dinos and other marvelous megafauna. These dinosaur RPG systems and settings tell of worlds of prehistoric fantasy, scientific expeditions to forgotten lands, and Jurassic Park-style theme parks where dangerous creatures have just broken free from their cages.

Ever since paleontologists started excavating, studying, and displaying the fossilized remains of creatures from the clade Dinosauria (meaning "terrible lizards"), people have been creating works of fiction where humans get the chance to encounter living dinosaurs. Jules Verne described creatures from the Mesozoic era in the underground setting of Journey to the Center of the Earth. Arthur Conan Doyle placed living dinosaurs and primordial hominids atop an isolated plateau in The Lost World. More recently, Michael Crichton's book series Jurassic Park and its film adaptations envisioned theme parks filled with prehistoric creatures resurrected by genetic engineering, while James Gurney's beautifully illustrated Dinotopia books described an isolated island continent where humans and sentient dinosaurs lived together in a harmonious, decentralized utopia.

Related: Jurassic World Evolution 2 Preview: More Dinosaurs, More Questions

The following sci-fi and fantasy tabletop RPGs draw inspiration from these seminal works of dinosaur-focused adventure fiction, while also incorporating more contemporary breakthroughs in paleontology (dinosaurs having feathers, for instance). Fundamentally, each of these dinosaur RPGs leans heavily into the fundamental "coolness" of the prehistoric creatures - and how interesting it would be for humans to be able to fight, flee from, pet, and ride them.

Planegea, a dinosaur-filled fantasy setting for D&D 5e, takes place on a primordial, freshly-formed land of verdant jungles, wild creatures, and wandering hunter-gatherer tribes. It's a twist on the classic Dungeons & Dragons fantasy world, where clerics worship scattered pantheons of small, unfinished gods, wizards tattoo spells onto their skin, and dwarves are partially made of stone. It's also a world chock full of dinosaurs, with tyrannosaurs, pterodactyls, raptors, and other creatures from different epochs of prehistory coexisting in glorious anachronism.

A prehistory adventure setting built around the Cypher RPG system of Monte Cook Games, Predation uses time travel tropes instead of fantasy ones to bring humans and dinosaurs together. In the backstory of Predation, a time-traveling megacorporation called SATI established a colony of humans on Earth during the Cretaceous era, then time travel stopped working, and the temporal colonists were cut off from support and resupply. Players in a game of Predation portray both human descendants of the original colonists and their dinosaur companions as they adventure, scavenge leftover technology, and figure out how they'll survive the huge asteroid destined to hit the planet in the not-too-distant future.

Hollow Earth Expedition is an RPG steeped in 20th-century pulp adventure fiction tropes - including the problematic, colonialist ones, as evidenced by cover art that prominently exotifies stereotypical depictions of Indigenous women. The game draws heavy inspiration from the Pellucidar novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs, which take place in a massive space at the center of the Earth filled with ancient civilizations, animals from the depths of prehistory, and mutated creatures with no paleontological basis. Player characters in Hollow Earth Expedition are liable to encounter giant mushroom forests, massive killer worms, cultures descended from ancient Roman legions and 17th-century pirates, mad scientists, Fascist villains practically begging for a fist to the face, and oodles of dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods.

Named after the famous last words of Muldoon in the first Jurassic Park movie, the Clever Girl journaling dinosaur RPG is a pure homage to the series. Each Clever Girl playthrough starts off in a Jurassic Park-style dinosaur theme park, where a group of genetically engineered predators have escaped from their pens. Players adopt either the perspective of humans on the run, forced to choose between risking their lives to help others or playing it safe by leaving them to die, or the perspective of newly freed raptors, hunting down humans for food or revenge.

2021 MacBook Pro To Get Huge Display Upgrade With 120Hz Refresh Rate

    0

Apple's expected to announce its 2021 MacBook Pro next Monday, and with just days to go before that, a new report claims the computer will have a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Apple recently announced its next hardware event is happening on October 18. The event's tagline is 'Unleashed,' and the general consensus is that the star of the show will be the new MacBook Pro lineup.

Based on the latest rumors, the 2021 MacBook Pro sounds like a beast. Apple's expected to launch two models, including a new 14-inch version and an update to the 16-inch model. Both sizes are said to have slimmer bezels than previous models, additional ports, no Touch Bar, and the next generation of Apple's in-house silicon (named M1X or M2). While the current M1 MacBook Pro is still an incredible computer, it sounds like this latest generation is the one fans have been waiting for.

Just a few days before the new MacBook is likely announced, a new rumor has made the upcoming laptop even more exciting. According to a Tweet from display analyst Ross Young, the new MacBook Pro is "100% confirmed" to have mini-LED display technology — the same type of panel used in the 2021 iPad Pro. This is something that's been repeatedly suggested of the laptop, with Young's Tweet making it that much more certain mini-LED will be a key feature. What's especially exciting is Young's comment that a 120Hz refresh rate is also expected.

In his full Tweet, Young says the following: "Panel suppliers are the same between the iPad Pro's and MacBook Pro's - LG Display and Sharp. Expecting similar technology - oxide backplanes, miniLED backlights and 120Hz refresh rates. MiniLEDs, 100% confirmed." When asked if 120Hz wasn't confirmed for the MacBook Pro, Young responded with, "We believe they will be 120Hz. If get different info, will post." That suggests 120Hz isn't as sure of a bet as mini-LED, though the feature does seem very likely according to Young.

Assuming this is all true, 120Hz would be a massive upgrade for the MacBook Pro. As we've seen in other devices over the years, 120Hz allows for much smoother scrolling, animations, and general interactions compared to a standard 60Hz screen. The 2018 iPad Pro was the first Apple gadget to implement the technology, followed by the iPhone 13 Pro that just launched last month. Seeing as how Apple's Pro iPad and iPhone both have 120Hz, it only makes sense for the MacBook Pro to eventually get the same treatment.

Thankfully, there's not too much longer to wait before Apple confirms if any of this is true or not. Next week's event kicks off at 10:00 AM PDT on October 18 and will be streamed for free on Apple's website. 120Hz would be an incredible addition to this year's MacBook Pro, but even if it doesn't make the cut, it's still shaping up to be an exciting release.

How Long It Takes To Beat Far Cry 6

    0

Players are finally getting their hands on Far Cry 6, and the newest entry in the series provides a fairly lengthy experience. Far Cry 6 has received fairly good reviews so far, with critics and players enjoying the core gameplay experience while recognizing the similarities to other games in the franchise. The game follows the tale of Dani Rojas as they attempt to bring down the devilish dictator Anton Castillo and save the fictional country of Yara.

Ubisoft has become well-known for creating open-world experiences that contain a plethora of activities to engage their fans. Franchises like Watch Dogs and The Division feature wide-open city landscapes full of story missions and side quests that can keep players occupied for hours on end, and the Assassin’s Creed series has evolved from a more linear-based open world into a full-blown RPG affair. Far Cry titles fall into the category of open-world adventures as well, but distinguish themselves from Ubisoft’s other franchises by implementing a first-person perspective.

Ubisoft has established a pretty significant pattern for Far Cry games since the release of Far Cry 3. Players are dropped into a land ruled by a vicious dictator and asked to help a group of rebels take back their home, and gameplay stems around explosive combat and exploration. The games typically keep players busy with a good amount of content, and Far Cry 6 appears to be no different.

Far Cry 6 is a moderately lengthy game, with HowLongToBeat polling players at an average of 19 hours just to run through the main story of Dani’s fight against the ruthless Anton Castillo and his forces. Some players were drawn instead to some of the expansive side content, which pushed the average time to about 26 hours. For those looking to explore every nook and cranny of Yara, a completionist run looks to take around 44.5 hours.

When comparing Far Cry 6’s length with the rest of the mainline games in the series, it narrowly takes the lead as the longest entry in the series so far. Far Cry 5 holds the second-longest main story at 18 hours, followed by Far Cry 4 at 17.5 hours, Far Cry 2 at 16.5, Far Cry 3 at 15.5, and the original Far Cry at only 13.5 hours. Far Cry 6 maintains that lead over the spin-off titles Far Cry New Dawn and Far Cry Primal as well, which come in at around 14.5 hours and 11 hours, respectively. It’s fair to say that Ubisoft has steadily increased the amount of content available in each game as time has passed (outside of the dip between 2 and 3), with Far Cry 6 leveling out at the top.

While not quite as long as a Soulsborne title, Far Cry 6 still seems to offer a decent amount of content to warrant a longer investment. Keep in mind that the amount of time it it takes someone to complete the game will differ from player to player, depending on the difficulty selected and how much of the side content the player chooses to experience. Nevertheless, Far Cry 6 should keep players busy for many hours to come.

90 Day Fiancé: Michael Jessen Confirms Split From Juliana On Anniversary

    0

Fans of 90 Day FiancĂ© have praised Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio for forming a happy and healthy patchwork family, but Michael has just confirmed that their relationship is over. It turns out that the couple was not as happy as they seemed to be. Juliana's social media left viewers speculating over whether or not she left Michael, as she posted tearful and cryptic messages on TikTok. Michael let his followers know about the split on their second wedding anniversary, before sharing that one of them has already moved on with a new love interest.

When Michael and Juliana first appeared in 90 Day Fiancé season 7, fans were skeptical about their romance. Many thought that the international Brazilian model was taking advantage of the wealthy older American. However, Juliana quickly bonded with Michael's ex-wife Sarah and their two children, Max and Cece. However, the past few weeks have seen Juliana dropping breakup hints. The model worried that fans would blame her and dislike her when they discovered the truth.

Michael took to his Instagram @michael_jessen77 to announce his split from Juliana on their anniversary, by sharing a sweet snap from their wedding on their second anniversary. "Today is only our second wedding anniversary and, sadly, our last. Our marriage is a Covid-19 casualty that will not be showing up in any statistics," Michael remarked in his lengthy caption. He wrote the caption to Juliana, adding that she was doing well while others are still suffering. He then praised his now ex-wife for her “resilience, self-reliance, and independence” as well as her “beautiful joy, happiness, and positivity.” However, he also wrote that the pandemic slowly robbed Juliana of her winning qualities.

Though Michael wrote seemingly kind words and blamed the pandemic for the end of their marriage, he also made it clear that Juliana left him. "I did not maintain the strength of mind and the fortitude to be the husband that you wanted me to be. The stress and the pressure of providing for everyone got the better of me and I did not take care of myself," Michael explained to Juliana. "I do not blame you for wanting to leave and for desiring a new start. You are more suited for the life that you had before we met and I can understand why you would want to return," he said, before writing that his "heart is broken."

Michael then dropped a major bombshell that Juliana had already found someone else. "I am happy that you have moved on and have quickly found someone new. I hope that you will have lasting love and happiness and achieve every dream that you set out upon. If anyone can do it, it is you, and I will always be rooting for you," he wrote.

Many 90 Day FiancĂ© fans came to regard Michael and Juliana as one of the happiest and sweetest couples in the franchise. Michael's children have been praised for their devoted and loving natures, while many viewers were impressed with how Juliana bonded with Michael's ex-wife Sarah. Though some viewers have been skeptical of their relationship from the start, many were surprised to see Juliana's tearful messages over the past few weeks. Since Michael had the first word on the split, many 90 Day FiancĂ© fans are curious about Juliana's response- and her new man.

Timothée Chalamet Sings In Willy Wonka Movie Set Video

    0

A new set video shows Wonka star Timothée Chalamet shooting a musical number for the upcoming Willy Wonka prequel. Based on characters from Roald Dahl's beloved children's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wonka will tell the story of the young chocolatier's upbringing and his rise to fame. Paddington director Paul King is helming the film, scheduled for release on March 17, 2023.

Chalamet is joined by an impressive roster of cast members, including Keegan-Michael Key, Sally Hawkins, and Rowan Atkinson, best known for his seminal character Mr. Bean. Warner Bros. has kept mum on plot details and character biographies, but it is rumored that Olivia Colman will be portraying a villain. With production on Wonka well underway, set photos of the highly anticipated film have begun to leak.

Now the first video footage of the Wonka set has emerged, courtesy of the account @_ARTSARTSARTS. Filmed in rural England, Chalamet can be seen riding on top of a truck through what is presumably his small village. With a whimsical musical number playing in the background, Chalamet sings, "Now it's time to show the world my recipes. I've got twelve silver sovereigns in my pocket and a hat full of dreams." Out of sight, another actor yells, "Good luck Willy!" @wonka_news corroborated the footage with additional photos of Chalamet in action. Check out the set video below.

The set footage confirms that Wonka will at least start as a straightforward coming of age story, as the young candyman leaves his small town behind to make a name for himself in the big world of chocolate. The video and accompanying photos also give fans another chance to look at the costume that Chalamet had previously revealed on Instagram. Here the actor dons his character's brown top hat, eye-popping coat, and what appears to be a cane, indicating that Wonka acquires his signature look early on in the film. The traveling chocolatier also has a knapsack in tow.

The new footage also supplies fans with a first peek at some of the music featured in the film. Wonka is rumored to be chockablock with song and dance numbers, and the set video at least confirms the former to be true. From the brief snippet of audio, Chalamet appears to be singing a somewhat bouncing, jubilant number. Chalamet has denied that Wonka is a dark tale, claiming instead that the film is a "celebration of being off-center." The leaked footage seems to confirm that celebratory tone so far.

The Book Of Boba Fett Proves Disney Has A Star Wars Prequel Problem

    0

The Book of Boba Fett points to a prequel problem in Disney's Star Wars universe. Boba Fett's return in The Mandalorian, season 2 was well-received, and the bounty hunter's upcoming spinoff is hotly anticipated. While it promises to be an exciting journey for a fan-favorite character, the show becomes part of a larger issue when considered alongside the rest of Disney's Star Wars slate.

Between The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian season 3, and Ahsoka, Disney is creating and hurriedly fleshing out a "prequel-to-the sequels" era. It's been wildly successful so far, and in many ways gets Star Wars right. As evidenced by Ahsoka and Fett's appearances in The Mandalorian season 2, these shows also promise to relate to one another. However, while these "prequel" offerings will likely be more favorably received than George Lucas' prequel films, this Disney era may be just as questionable - for more problematic reasons.

Disney's sequel trilogy featured a stellar cast and had bright moments, but is otherwise largely thought of as an unorganized, poorly-planned mess. In light of that, Disney either needs to focus on narratives set after the Skywalker Saga or build up to the sequel trilogy's story in a meaningful, deliberate way. Without those, Disney's focus on the immediate post-Return of the Jedi era seems to be an attempt to quickly fix some of the sequel trilogy's strangest plot holes (such as Supreme Leader Snoke's clone origin) and to please disappointed fans. If that's the case, it's worth wondering if Disney's Star Wars is heading into creative decay.

It's true that The Mandalorian connects to the sequel trilogy in a few ways, and it's likely that The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka will find ways to do so as well. However, for these shows to truly help redeem the sequel trilogy, they must connect in a way that lends narrative, not just logical continuity. George Lucas' prequels filled in the universe of the original trilogy, but did so in service of telling Anakin Skywalker's tragic story, not to fix plot issues. This is a far cry from how The Mandalorian tangentially fills in gaps in sequel trilogy logic, like its hasty setup of Force healing to explain how Rey and Kylo Ren can force heal in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and its glimpses of the Empire's first attempts at cloning. These revelations patch up holes in the sequel trilogy, but don't make them more interesting viewing in the way a series or film about Kylo Ren abandoning his Jedi training for the First Order might.

If the post-Jedi shows don't add depth to the sequel trilogy, they must plant seeds for a post-Skywalker Saga timeline to avoid being simple fan service. Even if The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, and Ahsoka connect to each other, the stakes will feel lower and lower if audiences realize each story is irrelevant by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Even Ahsoka, which promises to reintroduce both Jedi (by including Ezra Bridger) and a brilliant villain to the post-ROTJ timeline, is unlikely to affect a post-sequel trilogy galaxy - Ahsoka herself is implied to be deceased by Rise of Skywalker, and her likely adversary Grand Admiral Thrawn is completely absent from the trilogy.

It's also clear that Disney has been hesitant to commit to a post-sequel trilogy direction. Star Wars: Visions has proven the potential of the era, touching on the Force, lightsabers, and the future of the Jedi. However, it's not canon, further hinting that Disney is afraid to take the saga in a new direction. Lucasfilm's upcoming shows will surely please audiences. Without a larger plan, however, they may simply be safe bets and an appeal to nostalgia. Hopefully, The Book of Boba Fett will use the iconic character to grow the franchise in a meaningful way.

Recasting Dr. Strangelove If It Were Made In 2021

    0

Often regarded as one of the greatest movies of all time, Dr. Strangelove remains an incredible cinematic achievement to this day. The 1964 nuclear war satire remains sharp, funny, and insightful nearly 60 years later. And while Stanley Kubrick's masterful direction is a big part of that, the pitch-perfect cast cannot be overlooked.

The movie boasts some truly iconic performances, especially with Peter Sellers taking on three separate roles. But while Dr. Strangelove seems like one of those classic movies Hollywood wouldn't dare to remake, it is fun to imagine what modern cast might bring it to life.

    8 Gen. Ripper: Idris Elba

The whole mess of the movie is set in motion by one man, General Ripper (Sterling Hayden). Ripper is a very serious and commanding military official who has grown delusional in the Cold War and orders a nuclear attack against the Soviets in order to stop their evil plans.

While Ripper has some outlandish ideas, the role is made quite funny by the fact that he is a very serious man. Idris Elba has the kind of commanding presence necessary for a role like this. Much like his guest-starring role in The Office, Elba can step into a madcap situation and play the role of the straightforward and authoritative figure.

7 Ambassador De Sadesky: ‎Kayvan Novak

When the attack is ordered on the Soviet Union, the President of the United States gathers his war council together to address the problem. He also invites along the Soviet Ambassador de Sadesky (Peter Bull). He is another goofy and colorful character in this ensemble who is also sneakier than he first appears.

Kayvan Novak is a terrific comedic actor who is best known for playing Nandor on What We Do in the Shadows. Novak excels at playing this rather unlikable vampire who is nonetheless funny in his ignorant and self-centered ways.

    6 Capt. Mandrake: Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Though Mandrake was only one of three characters Peter Seller played in the movie, it seems more likely these roles would need to be split up among other actors. For Mandrake, Sellers is hilarious as the nervous yet persistent British officer who tries his best to prevent Ripper from carrying out his plan.

Like Sellers, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a multi-talented star best known for her award-winning work on Fleabag. She has perfected that awkward British humor that would be perfect for the role of the neurotic Mandrake while also having the strength for some of the character's more heroic qualities.

    5 Col. Guano: Jon Bernthal

Though he is only in the movie for a short time, Colonel Guano (Keenan Wynn) is another funny addition to the story as he leads the attack on Ripper's base to stop the attack. Guano is a no-nonsense man who just follows orders and has no patience when Mandrake attempts to explain the life-or-death stakes of the situation.

From Fury to The Punisher, Jon Bernthal has made a career out of playing tough guy characters who act first and ask questions later. He is ideal for the kind of military men like Colonel Guano and Bernthal's trend of playing very serious and gruff characters would make the part all the funnier.

    4 President Muffley: Steve Carell

Another of Peter Sellers's roles in Dr. Strangelove is that of the President of the United States. President Muffley certainly takes the situation at hand very seriously, but he is also probably not the best man to handle a crisis. As things grow worse, his lackluster skills as a leader become more clear, especially in his awkward phone call with the Russian president.

When thinking of bosses who are not great under pressure, Michael Scott from The Office certainly comes to mind. Steve Carell was hilarious at playing Michael as a manager who always says the wrong thing and seems to make every situation worse. A remake of Dr. Strangelove with Michael Scott as the president sounds like an ideal fit.

    3 Gen. Turgidson: Josh Brolin

Oscar-winning actor George C. Scott was mostly known for his dramatic roles like Patton, but he gives a hilarious over-the-top comedic performance in Dr. Strangelove. Scott plays General Turgidson, one of the president's top advisors who realizes the danger of the situation but also suspects everything is some plot by the Soviets to gain the upper hand.

Josh Brolin is also known for many intense dramatic performances. But some of Brolin's most likable roles are when he is a total goofball. In movies like Inherent Vice and Hail, Caesar, Brolin plays his usual tough-guy role but also infuses the characters with zany comedic energy that fits into the world of these movies.

    2 Maj. Kong: Melissa McCarthy

Perhaps the most iconic image from Dr. Strangelove is seeing Slim Pickens as Major 'King' Kong riding an atomic bomb down to its target as if it were a rodeo bull. Pickens plays the air force officer with a fun cowboy charm making him a larger-the-life character. He is a talkative and confident man even in the midst of this world-ending mission.

Melissa McCarthy is a brilliant comedic actor who has a talent for playing big and bold characters without making it seem too much. Her breakout role in Bridesmaids is a perfect example of the kind of wild and hilarious energy she could bring to the role of Kong. It is funny enough just imagining her re-enacting that famous bomb-dropping sequence.

1 Dr. Strangelove: Sacha Baron Cohen

The third and final role Peter Sellers plays in the movie is the titular Dr. Strangelove. He is a former Nazi scientist now working as part of the president's council. The character, including his hand that has a mind of its own, is the most broadly comedic one of the movie, seeming cartoonish at times yet it is an undoubtedly hilarious creation.

Sacha Baron Cohen resembles a modern-day Peter Sellers at times with his own career filled with strange and eccentric characters. He would surely be able to bring such an unusual creation to life and turn the small role into a scene-stealing character who earns the biggest laughs.

Halloween Kills Scene Left Judy Greer Actually Terrified

    0

Judy Greer, one of the stars of the upcoming Halloween Kills, reveals the scene she found the most terrifying to film. The film follows-up David Gordon Green's Halloween, which retconned every film in the franchise to act as a direct sequel to John Carpenter's 1978 original. The 2018 reboot-quel saw the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, the franchise's original final girl. Greer played Karen, Laurie's daughter, alongside fellow castmates Will Patton, Andi Matichak, Nick Castle, and Toby Huss.

Halloween Kills sees the return of Curtis, Greer, and a few others, with Green once again behind the camera. The film is set to pick up moments after Halloween ended, continuing the same night of Michael Myers' murderous reign of terror. The significant shift for Greer's Karen comes from not believing in her mother's paranoia in the previous film to now having experienced Myers' return, changing the estranged dynamic between the two. That newly heightened bond will only deepen the terror in which they find themselves, both for the characters and the Halloween Kills audience.

While speaking with Bloody Disgusting, Greer mentions a scene in Halloween Kills that sees Karen accompany Laurie to the hospital. Eventually, the hospital erupts into chaos, with a mob of people running and bumping into Karen and Laurie, who are pinned down in a hallway. As Greer put it, "the scariest part was for real," since even when the bedlam is choreographed, it can still be a tumultuous ordeal. Even with what she knew before filming, Greer couldn't help but feel terrified while being inches away from being trampled:

I think the scariest part was for real when we were stuck in the hallway, me and Jamie, and the mob was running after us, and they were running past us and bumping into us and shoving us and not even noticing or listening to us. It was really overwhelming and really scary. I was like, God, this is terrifying! It’s a movie, and people are acting; I can’t even imagine being in the middle of that kind of thing for real.

While the scene Greer mentions is full of chaos, it may not be what fans would've guessed as the most terrifying for her to film. It was clearly intense, but most would've likely expected Michael to play a more direct part in the moment. However, horror films can be just as terrifying for actors to film, and often more so in some scenes that may not be as frightening for audiences. As Greer said herself, "I can't even imagine being in the middle of that kind of thing for real."

Halloween Kills is set to have plenty of harrowing moments. A petition was even launched recently asking for the removal of a scene in Halloween Kills that features the slaughter of firefighters. While it's unlikely that the scene in question will be removed from the film, it shows that the sequel is already making waves for its intense content. It also won't be the last time audiences see Michael, as another sequel, Halloween Ends, is already planned for next year. For audiences eager to see the next horrifying chapter, Halloween Kills premieres on October 15, both in theaters and streaming on Peacock.
