- A Wireless Power Consortium filing for the Google Pixel Buds Pro confirms they will have wireless charging.
- The Buds Pro will charge at 2.5W, or half that of the Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds.
- This is the same speed as the 2020 second-gen Pixel Buds.
At Google I/O 2022, Google had a few surprising hardware announcements. Not only did it launch the expected Google Pixel 6a, but it also pre-announced several other products.
One of those products was the Google Pixel Buds Pro. As detailed on stage, the Pixel Buds Pro will feature the basic design language and features of other Pixel Buds but incorporate new features, such as active noise-cancellation.
