  • The company says it didn’t make a mistake and that this update was indeed intentional.
  • The Pixel maker says it’ll tweak the messaging in the Android 12 update notification.

Google started pushing out Android 13 to supported Pixel devices this week, but it turns out some Pixel owners were prompted to install an Android 12 update rather than the brand-new update.
