Anyone who has followed OnePlus from the beginning knows that the company has changed a lot over the years. It sold its early phones exclusively via an invite system. While this made it hard to get the phone, it allowed OnePlus to slowly ramp up stock and artificially keep OnePlus in the news for even longer. The addition comes a while after US carriers announced that they were phasing out their 3G networks, meaning that devices without VoLTE or VoLTE roaming won’t be able to make or receive calls (including making 911 calls).

Even Apple screams it out loud in its advertising: “Your next computer is not a computer.”

And yet, 12 years since the introduction of the iPad, we’re not quite in the post-PC world just yet. Over the last few years, Apple has made ample moves to bring more PC-like features to its tablet — be it a better file manager, robust cursor support, and even dual monitor support with the upcoming iPadOS 16. On the flip side, macOS has also been getting more iPad-like with every subsequent update.

When I first set out on the epic journey of finding a kettle for my apartment, I didn’t know the road would be this perilous and complicated. See, I have no previous experience with electric kettles — where I come from, you just boil some water on the stove and brew your Arabic coffee, hot cocoa, or tea with it.

This newfangled world of pluggable kettles was new to me, and I thought I could get a smart one so I’d have hot water by the time I got out of bed. The prospect of saying “Hey Google, turn on the kettle” while still snoozing was a bit of a dream. Turns out heat and electricity aren’t a joke and many manufacturers don’t trust that you’ll actually have water in your kettle before you remotely turn it on, especially if there’s no sensor to detect the water level before the kettle gets too hot.

Stage Manager is definitely a step in the right direction, but it’s still got a lot to learn from Samsung Dex.

Poco’s latest smartphones break cover ahead of official launch

Poco confirmed that it will launch the Poco F4 and Poco X4 GT globally on June 23, adding that the former device will arrive with a Snapdragon 870 chipset. Now, it looks like the phones have been leaked in full.

We already know what the Poco F4 will look like owing to Indian reviewers posting images online. But ever-reliable German outlet WinFuture has fully detailed the specs too, and it’s indeed largely in line with the China-only Redmi K40s.
